    Programmed the remote for a Sony Dvd/vcr combo player. The menu button does not bring the on screen instructions up; making it not possible to program the vcr.. How do I program the remote to find a different code??

Thanks for the code to set the code you must hold down the tv button while pressing the code and the power button should light up after dailing the 4 digit code

2. Once the on/off button is lit, press the on/off button until the unit turns off.
