Air conditioning not working - Air Conditioning and Heat for Kia Soul

Open the engine cover and there's a black box on the firewall with a smaller black box tucked in next to it.The smaller box contains the glow plug/charge circuit protector. There doesn't appear to be a specific relay for it but I did find a schematic to all the fuse and protector locations -

Should just be the serpentine belt and then the alternator, it is a little tight to work area wise.

Air Conditioner No air coming from air conditioning vents

1. Check the air conditioner fuse and replace as necessary.
2. Air conditioner system discharged. Have the system evacuated, charged and leak tested by an MVAC certified technician, utilizing approved recovery/recycling equipment. Repair as necessary.
3. Air conditioner low pressure switch defective. Replace switch.
4. Air conditioner fan resistor pack defective. Replace resistor pack.
5. Loose connection, broken wiring or defective air conditioner relay in air conditioning electrical circuit. Repair wiring or replace relay as necessary.

Check your blend air door on the frunt ac unit

The pulley on the air condition has to turn it has a belt on it. The Compressor engages to pre cool the evaporator. Most likely you have a blend door pod leak or leak in the hose or the sampler valve is bad. I would replace the sampling valve behind the glove box/air bag. As that reads the cabin temp and if it thinks the car is cold the heat will stay on because everything is automatic. All vents will blow cold when it thinks its hot and in addition to floor and corner dash center vents will blow cold when it works. If the direction of air is correct then the A/C system may have a leak or need a charge of freon.

The Air-conditioning needs to be re-gassed. Take the car to an Auto Mechanic to get the Air-Conditioning re-gassed. They might also need to check it for leaks to make sure the gas stays in.

Just get em re-gassed.I live in Spain and use it an awfull lot and two and a half to three years is about it.
