Resizing photo problem

Im hoping someone can help me to understand this!!
Is there a way to crop a photo, put it on a disk and be able to print it at various standard photos sizes, without changing the picture, or distorting it, or cutting some of the photo out when you chagen sizes?
I guess, I mean can it be printed at any size, and the picture still be the same in all the photos. Ive racked my brain trying to figure it out, Ive just recently started a photography website, and some people would just rather have a disk, than for me to print thier photos.

I will geatly appreciate the know how help!!

You don't need to do anything. If they just want a disk, put the photos on a disk for them. If they want to print out at particular sizes, they will need software to do that.

Whatever you put on that CD, be it the unretouhced original, or something you have manipulated or cropeed etc, they will still be able to print it out at any size they want. The bigger they print it, the more chance of it looking "pixellated" or digital, but again, their problem not yours!

Hope this helps, if not, please reply and I will try to explain further.

Hi I am at my whits end trying to crop a photo on my sonny cybershot DSC W800! Can someone please let me know how it's done thanks Kris

Cropping a photo in a camera? I never have seen a camera with this option. You use a zoom, or go close or far, to frame the picture before you shoot. Or for a crop you use a computer.
Sorry, but I think you want a function from your camera, what not is build in it.

Free download for picture resizing

Just about any photo editing program should let you crop and resize your pictures. Try iPhoto if you're on a Mac or Windows Photo Gallery if you're on Windows.
You can also try Picasa and the GIMP.

URGENT!!! How do I send a photo to my computer that I scanned using my HP Photosmart C7280 All-In-One printer. Here is the twist...I need to crop all of them first then have it sent to my computer...

You need to use the computer software to scan it, crop it and save it. This way you don't need to send it to the computer, as the computer does the thing through the software.

I want 2 edit my photo

Exactly what kind of editing are you wanting to do in Photoshop?
When you first start the program and open the image file you can start editing any way you see fit, whether it is cropping your image, removing red-eye, resizing and adjusting colors and so on.

I would like to learn how to resize the photos on my camera. Is this possible? If so, please tell me how.

hi,

some older model cameras (like 1990s-2000's) have that problem where the pictures coming out of the camera are just huge. Depending on how old the camera is the answer is in the owners manual or the help file in the camera software in the computer. You may have to download an additional resizing program(google or download.com), which may be easier to use and copy and paste your pictures into that software, crop and adjust and save them like that. Im not a camera wiz and own a 30.00 cheapcam, but my cousin has one like that and it took me
over an hour to navigate that antiquated software and figure it out. Newer windows version have a rudimentary crop and resize function within my pictures,(view) you can try that too.

good luck

Help

p.20 of manual:
Sansa Media Converter software lets you convert photos and videos as appropriate,
and then transfer them to your Sansa player. Sansa Media Converter offers
features such as cropping, rotating, and resizing before transferring them to your
player as well as the ability to transfer photo and video files to your microSD card.
Refer to the Sansa Media Converter software for file formats supported.
To transfer photos and videos to your Sansa player, follow these steps:
1. Connect the Sansa player to your computer.
2. Select Converter using Sansa Media Converter on initial connection.
3. Click Add Media to select photo or video files to be converted.
4. The Sansa Media Converter will store all converted files in My Album. Click
the Album Name box and type in the name you want.
5. Click to start the conversion process. A status box will appear
showing which file(s) are being converted.
