Ulead and movie maker both say the easy share video is not the right format for them what program can I use to edit these?
Kodak pocket video camera captures video in .MOV format, however, Windows Movie Maker only accepts video in .AVI, .WMV, .MPG extension. In this situation, iOrgSoft Video Converter is a good assistant for Kodak pocket video camera. It is engaged in converting Kodak MOV video into any popular video format, such as AVI, WMV, MPG, ASF, MP4, RM, RMVB, VOB, FLV, SWF, MKV, etc.
I had that problem too! So i searched some stuff up and found RAD video tools. Search it up, its free, there isnt any trial for five days or nething its just plain free. lol i know it sounds like an advertisement but ya try it out. You just go into it find the vid select it and press convert. Than change whatever you want the output file to be. (i like to use AVI) Then BAM! Put your stuff on Windows Movie Maker and make some vids! (p.s check me out on youtube and give me video suggestions, ANYTHING! just search up my user (4Morg4) check out my vids and give me video suggestions. THANKS!)
You'll need to install the Kodak Easy Share software - in this you may have to export your video into a different format. .mov .wmv .avi .mpg .mpeg Are all very well recognised formats, so if you have the option to export the videos from your Digital Camera as that, then do so. You will then be able to edit the exported video in Ulead and Movie Maker.
I also encountered this problem, I can't edit my kodak videos on movie maker. My friend Misa recommend me this converter, this is the guide, you can free download and have a trial.
