Check on Settings / Printers / properties to see if you have set the printer as a Network printer instead of as a local direct connected printer.
If the settings are correct you may need to re-install it to correct any file corruption. Go to Windows Control panel / Add Remove Programs and delete the printers software. Then reboot the computer and re-install the printers software. If you do not reboot the computer first it may try and use the old installation files which can still be read. Rebooting removes the memory of the old files.

There is a way how to do it. Actually I don't want to spare in public forum, as this could lead to unpleasent effect - Like unapproved person comming to (your) shop and reseting devices.

Remove the CD, then go to the program files folder and remove the folder that applies to this device. Remove the device from the USB port.
Reboot the PC.
Reinstall the software before you attach the webcam to your PC. Only attach the device when directed by the installation program, or after you have fully installed the software.
It's a pain in the ****, but reboot after you finish installing the software and then attach the device. This will allow the device manager utility to fully recognize the device and apply the appropriate drive files.
