Purchased Streets & Trips 2013 & installed on home computer. have bought notebook after home computer crashed and want to install on notebook. No dvd drive on notebook but have product key just need to know how to install.

Nothing but sad news here. First, Streets and Trips was discontinued in 2014. Maps would be missing changes to local and interstate systems if the version was active. Secondly, I have seen postings indicating that Microsoft discontinued support for the 2013 Streets an Trips in regards to Windows 10. Some say it ran on Windows 10 for about a year and then stopped working. You might try it on a Windows 7 computer but regardless, Microsoft offers no support for the product at this point. In short, if you need a map, you need to look elsewhere. Maybe MapQuest or Badger Maps.
you might check in MY COMPUTER & see if the drive is showing, if it's not either there's something wrong with the disk or their's something wrong with the drive
It should give you an option somewhere to activate. If it does, follow the prompts and enter your activation code from your DVD case (most of the time it is a sticker with numbers+letters on a sleeve inside the case).
uninstall. type regedit in run. In the left pane click HKEY Local Machine. Find Software and Click. Find Streets & Trips Delete it 'All". close the box. clean your drive. Restart & reinstall
You can use recovery software to recover setup from your previous computer or make hard drive of your previous computer salve to this new computer and install. But if you have lost setup files then you need to contact website from where you downloaded to get your new copy. Thanks
this sw has a link with initial device and you are allowed to use on a single machine only. your license is registered and you can only get a trial period on any other CPU you have to contact MS to get a new installation key and you have to uninstall from initial pc too.
