according to other forums and blogs, they say it is a pain to do on the 2830c and that you would have to sit and baby sit it, newer printers were being recommended for this task.

U can enable department code for colour print, enable "no limit black", where user print colour only prompt for department code. All this can be done under User Function --> Department Management
usually to set it up to your computer there should be a program which shows how to do it . Microsoft office under mailings shows an envelope picture, try that To put the envelopes in the printer there is usually a picture where u put the paper it will show which way to place the envelopes.
Just go to Devices and Printers from Control Panel, Right click on your Printer and click on See Whats Printing or Print Status, Once you click on it the Printer Spool Window would appear there click on File and make sure use Printer Off line is not checked. If its not checked and you have the same issue its an issue with the driver the Printer has to be reinstalled.
