There is ice build-up behind the plastic casing. If this is
not removed it will get worse, If you are pretty handy you can remove the white
casing at the back of the fridge and remove the excess ice. If not turn off fridge
and let it defrost completely. The alternative is to call Samsung if still in warrantee,
if not in warrantee they will charge you to compete this and it will not be
cheap!!

Good day. My Samsung fridge/freezer SR-S22FTFB runs normal for the first few hours when been switched on, both fridge and freezer temperatures were set for (- 18 and 2), both fans are running and when

Hello Danie;

My name is Peter. I am a retired field service refrigeration technician.

The normal setting for a freezer is -2 to +2 degrees F., and the normal setting for the fresh food section is +35 to +40 degrees F.

You only have one source of cooling and that is your freezer. With the settings that you have, you are asking your unit to do what it is not designed to do.

The ice maker is struggling because if it is a cast steel ice cube mold, the heater beneath it is not designed for the current to break the ice cubes free @ -18 degrees F., or if you have a plastic flex ice cube mold it is too ridged to flex enough to break the ice cubes free. Normally your ice maker should dump 8-10 times in a 24 hour period.

A note on food storage. Make sure you do not overload your freezer of fresh food section to the point where food product extends beyond the edge of the shelves.

Try rearranging all items inside fridge and freezer so that air may circulate around all items easily and then check seals on doors and ensure doors are closed completely and not leaking cold air. Also do a complete thaw/ defrost. You can remove the plastic coverings and ensure all ice is defrosted. Using a hair dryer will speed up thawing/defrosting process.

Daewoo FRSU20DCB not making ice

Sounds like you have an airflow issue. Freezer temp. should be @10-15 below and fresh food area @35-37 above zero You may have an evaporator fan or door switch failure

Combination cooler/freezer will not get blow 30

a coil covered in ice is one of two things
your defrost is not working or your circ fan is not working
make sure the fan inside is free and spinning
the make sure your defrost timer is operational
the bev airs are usually right in front behind the toe kick
short of that ohm out your heater to ensure its working

Sheet of ice forms in bottom of freezer

Frost free fidges are supposed to stay frost free because the automatically defrost regularly. When they do this they may drain water down to the bottom of your fridge. Look for a tray that catches this water underneath the unit. Make sure yo keep it emptied. If you live in a very warm climate you may be getting a lot of humidity inside. There may be a switch that you can change for lower moisture.

Kenmore Ice Maker Not Making Ice

the water that is frozen in the fill tube could have come from the old water valve that you replaced ,you got to get the ice out, the easiest way ,though not the fastest ,is to unplug fridge for 24 hrs . and leave the doors open to let it defrost, the plug back up and hopefully in 5 or 6 hrs you'll have ice

The fridge on my fridge freezer has stopped

just about all friges work off the frezer .the evap fan moves the air fromthe frezer to the frig.so you would here fan noise.i dont know your brand but on most frezers if you turn the frezer temp to the highest setting thats acomplished by keeping the air from going to the frige.hence warmer frig temps .also make sure fan on out side back is working and condenser is clean.again turn air damper control from frezer to frige to lowest setting .somthimes this could be in frig section.God bless ,tom

FREEZER SOUNDS VERY NOISY

that because the internal fan is hiting the ice or has bad bushings you can hear the noise just with the door close because when you open the door there is a switch the one turns off the internal fan so when you close the door it turn on the fan again if you wants to hear that with the door open just open the door and push the botton swich with your fingers and you'll hear the noise
