The iTeddy has a reset button on the back of the media player.

Happened to me also, managed to fix it through trial and error. However so you dont have to here's the menu route for you

open the settings menu - has the i icon on it

push the fastforward button (two arrows pointing right) twice

click the play button (top one)

English should be the top one in this menu.

I already resolved it

the reason your lamp blew so quickly is the the lamp fan has become cloged with dust. this is a known problem by sony and I have done 15 or so of the up grades needed. first look at the lamp door is it discolored and warped. if so have a tech order the up grade kit which includes a new door, siraco fan, thermal fuse, and lamp. the return fan may also be needed. also some service menu changes need to be made with the fan voltages of fan 1 and fan2.
