Cd has fallen behind disk tray and drawer won't close

Remove the metal case/top from the whole unit. See screws at back and any at sides. You should then be able to see and remove the CD upwards, without removing the drawer.

How to remove center desk drawer

Some drawers have slides that have latches that have to be manually depressed simultaneously, in ordert to remove the center drawer. Look at the slides and see if there is a button, or possibly a machined strip of metal, that releases a latch that keeps the drawer from falling off the end of the slide.

Washer leaks from the front - not a major leak but noticeable none the less. Have checked hoses but no problem there. Can you help?

1. Remove the lid of the washing machine by removing 2 screws from behind.(Power and water off etc.) You will probably see rust on the steel above the drawer unit.
2. Remove the drawer.
3. Label all hoses leading to the drawer unit (for re-assembly) and remove the hoses.
4. Remove the drawer unit - a bit fiddly. (2 screws at front of washer at either side of drawer unit need to be removed.)
5. Remove the lid from the drawer unit. Thoroughly wash out the drawer unit. Also wash out the drawer. (I forgot whether the lid can be removed before removing the whole unit from the machine.)
6. There is a thin hose leading from the drawer unit to the drain in the back of the washer - make sure this hose is not blocked. Remove hose and run water through it.
7. Re-assemble everything into the washer.
8. This is the controversial bit: (The drawer unit should be fully installed but the drawer is still removed)
- Silicone seal the gap between the drawer unit and the plastic at the front of the washer, (Seal all round, but especially at the top. It should be possible to do this neatly, Try to get silicone fully into the gap, not just between the two pieces of plastic. (I flexed down the plastic at the top of the drawer unit to get silicone into the gap.
9. Replace the drawer and wait a day before using the machine.

Need to remove drawer from the Duet drawer pedestal, it won't come out

I just removed the drawers, you need to remove one each 1/4" head sheet metal screw from the end closest tot he drawer front. this will allow you to slide the drawers out and clean the mess undere both the dryer and the washer. repeat steps to reinstall. Takes about 2 min to remove both doors, Hint: a 1/4 socket works better than a wrench.
