Sharp VX-2652H - do you know where I can find the rubber roller the printer head strikes? Mine is worn down and is easy to replace. I just need the part or part #.

will who ever pulled out the paper incorrectly might have damage the sensor accurator, have a tech come and check it out.

Try a new power supply and outlet. If that does not work buy a new calculator. Good luck!

I have one of these printers and it's been very reliable.
Sometimes the rollers get sort of dried out or "dusty" from all the paper. When they get like this the don't grip the paper as they should.
Disconnect the printer from the power and from the usb cable and pull out the paper and the toner cartridge.
I would get some plain rubbing alcohol and carefully clean the rubber surface of each roller that you can see, both underneath the printer with the paper removed and inside with the toner cartridge removed.
Rotate the rollers with your fingers as you clean them be sure to get the entire surface or as much of it as you can.
In many cases this will fix the problem. If you have a badly worn or damage roller (and you can tell by looking...they look sort of wrinkly/dried up or they could even be cracked), you will have to decide if you want to buy new rollers and install them yourself or if you want to get another printer. I have no idea what the rollers cost, but this particular printer is pretty inexpensive. Mine was about $99.00. If the rollers cost more than 40 to 50% of the cost of a new printer and this printer is more than a few years old, it might be time to consider a new one.
However, if you can get the roller kits for little money, they are usually very easy to replace. Usually the most important pick up rollers slip off and on and are very easy to replace.

So the difference is 1 is a commercial calculator and the other is a scientific calculator.

We use these printers in the computer labs at the school district I work for. The easy inexpensive fix is to turn the rubber bands on the rollers inside out.

check pickup rollers,are they worned?if not whole pickup assy needs replacing.

I have had the same paper jam nightmare as many CLP-300 users and just as I was on the verge of throwing it away I appear to have solved the problem. The paper tray has adjustable plastic guides on either side. I loosened them slightly to allow an spare eighth of an inch each side and I've had no problems since. I can't believe the problem that plagued me for months was so easy to fix.

Can you hear if the roller mechanism is kicking in? If you hear the roller moving but the paper is not even starting up the path, it's probably a worn pickup roller. If the solenoid is firing but the roller isn't turning then the feed roller shafts clutch mech is probably worn/broken and needs replaced.
