Ge profile leaks from front of freezer

I have a GE Profile Model FH24PRSM that leaks from the front of the freezer door. The water is from an ice blockage that occurs under the coils in the freezer. The drain remains open but water is freezing in the drain area and flows over onto the bottom inside of the freezer. Once enough water freezes to cover the entire bottom of the freezer compartment it proceeds to leak out the bottom left corner of the freezer door and collects around the front left wheel. What is it that keeps this watter from freezing around the drain reservoir? is the bottom defroster not working or possibly airflow form the warmer refregerator side (throught a grill) that is not being applied? Once again, the drain remains open.

The drain - including the hose - is open.  The water freezes around the drain and creeps forward until the entire floor of the freezer is covered in ice.  Any additional water then leaks out of the front of the freezer through the bottom of the door.

Your drain will be plugged under the tray. there is a hose that runs to the drip tray. the back cover comes off you can then get at the hose

How to fix water leak on GE Profile Refrigerator

Hi,

I would look at the dispenser door for the ice (ice chute) I have seen this door not completely close and cause leaking the you are describing. This door is has a black seal, use a flashlight, from the inside of the freezer door, look for light on the outside of the door. I think you leak is there and replace the solenoid for the door to fix this issue. Good Luck, if you want more help please input a model number. Thanks

My GE Profile model psc23sgnabs leaks water from under the water & ice dispenser recess trim moulding. Is there any way to get the freezer door apart to replace water hose inside the door? There are...

No, the door is foamed together.
Remove small drip catch at bottom of dispenser area. Use silicone to seal recess along front edge and the two front corners. That should prevent water from getting under the door trim.

GE Profile leaking onto floor

Clean the drain pan and drain line in the back of the freezer section behind the cover underneath the evaporator coil. (hint: use turkey baster with hot water) Make sure water drains when you pour it in. If it doesn't - also clean drain tube on the back of the unit behind the cover. When done - put the tube exactly where it was.
Good luck! :)

Our GE Profile Side by Side Refrigerator is leaking at the ice dispenser in the door. I've turned the water valve off, what should be my next step?

easy , 1 you have to chek if the line of your water is broken , 2 you have to see if it not from your freezer ( the defrost ; it do that 3 time per day ) if it leak for the frezzer you have to low the temperature in the freezer

Not getting water from dispenser in door

The connector that is leaking is bad causing tubing to come out and leak. The reason it won't flow is it is iced up inside of the door and no, unfortunately, you can't disassemble the door to get to it. It requires a door replacement. The connector is part number WR02X10471 from www.geappliances.com or GE Factory Service Parts at 1-800-626-2002

Water leaking - GE Profile Refrigerator, Model: TPX21PRX

Check to see if the drain at the bottom of your freezer is plugged. When the refrigerator goes on defrost, the water has to go somewhere. Look below the coils in the freezer section and see if there is ice in the drain.
