MY GOLF LOGIX HAS WORKED FOR OVER 2 YEARS . NOW IT WILL NOT AQUIRE SATELLITES. OTHER GOLF LOGIX IN MY **** WORK FINE

    I have the same problem. Did the restore, didn't work. Can't get hold of anyone at GolfLogix. High volume of calls? Two weeks and still can't get it fixed.

    Also seem to have lost the almanac tried resetting but had no luck still waiting for a call bak from Garman

    Purchased last year and there was no problem.

    In 2009, after replacing batteries,



    1. locks up "Tracking satellite"

    2. Restore GPS

    3. Now, locks up "Searching Satellite"



    Support team recommended to call customer support.

    Have been calling them for 3 weeks now but nobody take the call and nobody call back. Now, they don't answer email neither. This is night mare.

The GolfLogix 7 had a problem that if you did a reset to factory defaults it wiped out the Almanac in the GPS. This is the Table of where the satelites are. Put in a fresh set of battery's....turn it on and put it out in the open sky for 4 to 8 hours. Sometimes this will work. If not contact Golflogix Tech Support. They ill probable ship you a replacement unit.

Hello! Dan Busa with Dish Netywork here intermittent signal loss like that is usually caused by some sort of glitch a hard reset ( unplugging it for ten seconds ) will usually resolve this. If your signal strength is at or above 80 that should be fine, but keep in mind you need good signal strength on both the 119 and 110 satellites ideally you should be at 70 .
