Blackberry pearl wont stay on and red LED light keeps flashing

The flashing red light is telling you that the battery is almost drained down to capacity and that the phone must be plugged in now. When the charge is this low you are going to have to leave the phone recharge for at least 12 hours before trying to use it again. Once the phone is turned back on, the phone will reset itself. What you need to do is reinstall the update I would do this by backtracking to a previous version of the software then reinstall the update again just make sure it is the right update for your service provider and then it should be fine :)

oneof my old phones did that and its no help to fix it so you will have to buy a new one it means that something is wrong with the device that keeps the phone running and going right it burned out.

The red light is telling you that your phone is on. It will flash regaurdless if you have a text or not. When you charge it the light turns green.

Try restoring the blackberry using the blackberry firmware update utility, if the problem persists, it's a logic board issue. there are blackberry repair websites that show you how to do the replacement yourself, otherwise here is a service that can repair any Blackberry Bold, Storm, Pearl, Curve, 8800 for screen, lenses,

I just called Verizon Wireless who said that the phone may need to be charged completely for a few hours. Try taking the battery out and putting it back on as well.

This just means that the phone has coverage. under options and then screen/keyboard, you cna turn it off by where it says LED coverage indicator.

this happened to me and i just shut the phone down took out the battery waited 3-4 mins put battery back in do not turn on phone but put it on charge and it should be ok.

I have an answer for the 3-2 red light blink w/black screen. Remove the battery, hold the end call button and put the battery back in. The red light should stay on for a while now. Push and hold the call button and alternate with the end call button untill the hourglass shows. Allow some time to boot up. I stumbled upon this, so if this doesnt work, try simmilar procedrues. I did get mine to work. Good Luck, dont give up, it flashes that 3-2 code for a reason.
