Screen touch My touch screen won't work, I can't use it at all. I can see the display, and use my buttons, but the touch screen won't respond to my stylus, or finger, or anything. I have tried cleaning it and pressing 'L' 'R' and 'Start' at the same time but nothing works! There are no black spots or anything like that. Please help!

Refer to the trouble shooting at Nintendo. Your screen may not be working due to the game your playing if any. If that's not the case you may need to recalibrate your touch screen.

SOURCE: Both Screens Flicker after trying to replace touch screen

I finally solved the flickering problem on my DS (!), after I made my 1st engineering attempt overhaul shell, top screen and broken right hinge.   Was really frustrated about the flicker afterwards, and opened up unit back up too many times to debug (risked damage to cable ribbon everytime!).
Anyway turns out there's 2 hidden screws (location:  inside the battery compartment near where the front 'volume slider' is located) that adjusts the flickering (like how you need to calibrate an LCD monitor from doing same flickering effects) . You'll need a really (really!) small philips (+) screwdriver to do the adjustment.
Open up the battery cover with the VOL label upside down & facing you.  The adjustment screws are recessed deep inside the plastic...a right and left screw.  With the DS turned 'ON' to see the screen (whether you twist your neck to be able to see or have a mirror on the table in front of the DS)....slowly/carefully turn the screws to adjust until you like the clarity.  That's it.   The right screw = bottom screen.  The left screw = top screen.
Now.... on to figuring out how to replace or fix the broken Power toggle switch that I snapped off!  Currently using the toothpick method, but that's getting old!  Any suggestions, I'd appreciate it!

Question edited for clarity.
Question moved to model category.

Try recalibrating the screen. Having said that, with the number of adverts for buying one, it looks like there is an issue.

I dropped my phone and the touch screen is no longer responding.

If the touch screen is not responding then you need to replace it. In market check whether the touch screen can be replaced separately it will be charge you less. Else you need to replace both the touch screen and display together which cost you more.

Screen not responding to any touch

After cleaning my screen from my kids sticky fingers and having it outside in the cold .. around zero my screen stopped working. The screen displayed okay but the calibration was so far off I could use it. I played with it for a while until I got it to work again.. First I recharged it. Then tried to just do a shut down which didn't work cause you have to hit the yes on the screen. Then I tried the reset button, then tried the reset and holding the power button then plugged it in the usb port. Did a shut down, it reassessed life and started working again. Better than when I bought it.. from Kijiji.
