I have an LG combo washer dryer WM3677HW - the detergent dispenser tray is stuck in the machine and cannot come out. If I try to to force it open the face piece comes off but the tray will not come out - unfortunately I was not the one washing so I do not know what happened prior to the problem although no one claims that anything special happened. Thanks

SOURCE: detergent dispenser stuck

Had the same problem here today, the softener dispenser blue plastic piece was loose jamming the whole dispenser tray, to resolve remove top cover, two screws on top rear, slide the cover towards the back, you will then see the detergent dispenser, press the right clips and pull it off slightly at the back; do not put too much pressure and try to remove the cover completely, just pry the plastic cover a bit then pull the detergent tray it should come right out.

LG washer detergent dispenser won't open The dryer is on top of washer

if you are patient, if you are lucky, you can take a very flexible tool like a frosting spatula and work it into the right hand side of the dispenser drawer and work it back and forth while moving the drawer in and out from its stuck position and maybe get it over the top of the softner tray and free the drawer. the top of the softner is popped up a bit and is catching on the top of the dispenser's enclosure top. about an inch or so in from the right. takes luck, skill and most of all patience. not easy but maybe less work than removing the dryer and going into the top of the washer. (if you get it out, then thoroughly clean everything up, then file down the front of the softner cup so it will not happen again--or throw away the softner cup and stop using softner) GOOD LUCK

Detergent dispenser is stuck and cannot open on LG Tromm washing machine

There is a small tab that one has to press down to unlock the retainer clip.
Press this down while pulling the tray outward.

LG Washer/Dryer Combo not spinning

If you can make the motor spin a few revolution by manual intervention, then the issue is most likely a faulty motor 'start' capacitor which is located near the motor: this replacement involves a dangerous MAIN AC VOLTAGE device and I would advice getting a qualified technician to check/repair your dryer.
Hope it helps.

Lg tromm washer leaks from detergent drawer

my washer also was leaking from the dispenser and I had a cap from one of the detergent bottles stuck in the inlet hose. Don't know how it got in there but glad I found it so if your washer leaks from the soap tray it could be a cap from your detergent bottle stuck in there.

Lg wm3677hw combo washer drain pump repair question

You replace the whole drain pump. Pretty easy to do from the opening in the bottom by resting the unit on its back. (Make sure you drain the unit completely) You should be able to get the drain pump (pt #4681EA2001D) from http://www.encompassparts.com/lgconsumer/ for less than $50 + s&h.
