If it doesn't have the indentations for a tool used to screw off the case back then its a pry off type and you need to use a sharp tool and pry off under the case against the band post

I think you are referring to the bezel around the crystal (glass). There is a spring under the bezel and it has broken. It can be replaced.

a Tachometer chronograph is a time and speed measurement.

1. Pull out the time set mode button.
2. Press the upper right button repeatedly until the sweep hand makes it back to 00/60.
3. Press the time set button back into normal position.
