No sound on two stations

Do you use an digital antenna receiver which gives you a couple basic air channels for free Or is it through a cable company? It could be the weather conditions or the antenna could be unplugged or cable wire could be loose or cable company could have certain channels being fixed.
. We have a big Element HD tv flat screen and use an digital antenna receiver and when receiver is unplugged or if our outside/entry way doors are open (receiver antenna is outside) none or some of channels won't work..

Digital TVs or set-top boxes only receive the digital TV signals not the digital radio signals. To receive digital radio, you need a digital radio (DAB+) receiver. The ABC does broadcast two of its digital radio music stations-ABC Dig Music and ABC Jazz-on digital TV and they are available on channels 200 and 201.

NBC antena broadcasting signal is weak and it sit in pretty low ranges on the mountains tops call mountain Wilson.The broadcasting antena is weak and ur receiving antena is weak too.Tries websites like Amazon.com Ebay.com to buy a Digital antena and used it,will boot up ur tv antena receiving signal stronger and longer ranges.Than.U will able to get the NBC tv channel.

WX is for weather. If you put it on WX, and you do not hear anything, then you need to change the weather station it is on. in wx mode, you change weather channels by pressing channel up and down. To communicate with 2 way, press the cb/wx button so it is on CB mode.

I have the same TV & cannot get into the TV menu to program the cable... it was bought secondhand without the original remote. There are no buttons anywhere on the TV itself to bring up the menu & the universal remote's menu option doesn't do it, either... how do I set the channels?

Are you positive that your city has not done the Digital Conversion? Some Cities are doing it early before the February deadline. Also make sure you are tuning in to the correct channels. Meaning that if on your Cable Provider ABC was on Channel 3 that does not mean that ABC with still be on Channel 3 after you have your Cable turned off. Most of the Time the Local Stations Tag will let you know what channel its on. It will be something like "KWAS ABC 27" So on your TV you would Tune it to channel 27 to get ABC and the same fore NBC , FOX, CBS , etc...

If you are receiving a High-Definition (HDTV) signal through an over-the-air broadcast, you may see this kind of mosaic-like breakup of the picture and sound if the signal is weak or interrupted. This is the same way that you would receive snow and static with an analog signal in the past. I just got the same exact one, when it searches automatically the first time it doesn't look for digital channels. go to Menu>manual channel search>cable. it will look for all possible signals and will take forever probably. the free digital channels will take several seconds to switch channel to channel, but they're there! They will show up on your screen as "DC 91-2" or similar. you can switch back to regular cable channels with the input button, you just cycle through all the inputs. hope that helps.

call tech support & ask them to hit your box to reset it, in the meanwhile unplug it for 15 seconds

Hello dotdeb99, Use your remote to go to the menu on your TV and scroll through the menu items, you should see the SAP feature. Then turn it off. You can also get the users manual for your TV on-line and it should have SAP instructions in it. Just remember SAP is a TV menu item, it will not be actually on the remote itself. Thank you.
