Based on the information provided, it is possible that the issue lies with the Zing Ear ZE-208D 3 speed switch. This switch controls the fan speed and if it is not functioning properly, it could cause the fan to only run at the lowest speed. It is also possible that there could be an issue with the transformer or another component, but without further testing it is difficult to determine the exact cause of the problem.
One potential solution would be to replace the Zing Ear ZE-208D 3 speed switch. This can be done by disconnecting the wires from the old switch and connecting them to the new switch in the same configuration. It is important to ensure that the new switch is compatible with the fan and has the same number of wires as the old switch.
Another potential solution would be to check the wiring connections between the switch and the fan motor. Loose or damaged connections could cause issues with the fan speed.
If neither of these solutions work, it may be necessary to consult a professional electrician or contact Concord for further assistance.
Just a thought
If you find a junker fan try the switch off of it. Quite often they will work. Sometimes different makes the switches are interchangeable.
Fan is wired wrong, but you need to test using multi-meter. Buy cheap multimet from hardware, install battery, set to read ohms or the upside down horseshoe symbol Copy following link for testing wires: http://waterheatertimer.org/How-to-wire-3-speed-fan-switch.html
Assuming this is not the new electronic signal sendor switch that was made only for the fan and came with the fan; if this is a 3 speed mechanical switch to operate a 3 speed fan, you will need to have 4 wires going to the fan from the switch-----one wire is the common Neutral, the other three are : a single wire for each speed. Good luck, Macgivor
you have 3 control wires (the 3 speeds) and a common wire. the common wire will go directly from the fan motor to the power source/cord and the other 3 leads will run through the switch. you could even use a standard dimmer-style lighting rheostat and connect it to the common and "high" fan speed wire and have infinitely variable fan speeds. hope that helps.
