I had the same prob. If you have water/soap solution at the upholstery handle, and no water/soap at the front jets, then the jets are clogged. remove the water tank, and you'll see the 2 jets (mine are red) at the front of the machine. Carefully release thw jets by squeezing the 2 tabs on top and lift out. Remove the hose that goes to the jet and clean out the jet (I used a toothpick) and rinse well. I also flushed out the system (hoses) by leaving off the jets and replacing the tanks (water and soap) I filled the soap tank with water too. Then I turned on the machine and let it run for a few minutes (I taped open the lever on the handle) to make it easy on me. Then replace the jets where you took them out, and all should be fine now. I suggest that when your finished using you machine to do your carpets, rinse out the lines with water in both tanks, to prevent soap from drying in the hoses.

The water won't come out. The carpet is still dry after repeatedly pushing trigger to dispurse water on carpet.

If it will not disperse water then that means that the pump belt needs to be replaced. Here is the belt you need:

I followed directions no water will come out

When water doesn't disperse that means that the pump belt is worn, stretched or broken. You can get belts and view the manual here:

The water doesn't come out. I've taken it apart

The reason the water is not dispersing is because the pump belt is probably stretched or worn. You can get belts and view the manual here:

Can you disperse a water and vinegar mixture with the steam buggy, without causing damage to any part of the unit? can you disperse a water and bleach mixture with the steam buggy, without causing damage...

If you do this the vinegar will likely disperse hard water scale as it cleans the inside of the element. While it shouldn't stain anything it will likely cause sputtering as it breaks down the scale. If your goal is to clean and disinfect a surface that is vinegar friendly, I would consider taking the extra step of spraying the surface with a spray bottle with the vinegar. Bleach in steam might puff back at you in a cloud and burn your eyes and skin so be VERY cautious on the bleach.
