I HAVE A LG DLE3777W DRYER THAT COMES ON, RUNS FOR THREE OR FOUR MINUTES THEN WILL NOT COME ON FOR A COUPLE OF HOURS OR EVEN A DAY. IT DOES EVENTUALLY COME BACK ON. I HAVE PUT A NEW CONTROL/POWER BOARD IN IT AND THAT DID NOT SOLVE MY PROBLEM. I ALSO HAVE REMOVED THE DRUM AND TESTED THE CONTINUITY OF ALL THE ELECTRICAL INCLUDING THE THERMAL FUSE-WHICH HAS CONTINUITY WHEN COLD. MAYBE THIS CHANGES WHEN IT WARMS UP? IT WILL RUN FOR ONLY A FEW MINUTES, MAYBE TWO THEN SHUTS OFF AND IS UNRESPONSIVE LIKE IT HAS NO POWER. WHAT COULD BE DOING THIS? ? ?

no problem with motor or control board. fault is with the motor capacitor only. this is often attached to the motor or near it. the value of the capacitor will be printed on it (usually about 8uf) and you should be able to source from an electrical spares shop

SOURCE: My LG electric dryer DLE3777W takes forever to dry

Check to see if your vent is not kinked or clogged. Also, check if your lint screen is clean. If you don't clean it each time you loose 10% efficiency. Good Luck

Good Morning friend, thank you for your post!

From my understanding your Frigidaire dryer, LEQ1442ES1, will run and then shut down after three or four minutes. I would recommend a reset on your dryer which you can do by unplugging your power cord for roughly ten minutes.

If that does not correct the issue it sounds like a potential problem with your control panel or a sensor. I would suggest having a professional come out and repair your appliance to avoid any unnecessary part purchases. -Matt

LG dryer model dle3777w. Squeeky dryer. Maybe the dryer rollers can replacement parts be ordered?

Just to be sure, try spraying some WD40 or similar grease on the shaft of the rollers. I noise goes away, place heavier grease or replace the rollers.

We have a DLE3777W electric dryer. The check filter and cooling lights are coming on now all the time. It's drying but not as well as it has and takes longer. How do we turn off the cooling light? What...

if you pull your lint screen out and look down you will see like a metal piece with two screws, this is your sensor, more then likely it has lint/fuzz on it. I would suggest taking the cabinet(dryer) apart and cleaning it with a brush, lightly as not to damage it. Sometime you can get to it with a vacuum but if you are not careful it can be damaged. Hi,

The problem most likely would be in the defrost system. Many systems use a coil that heats to defrost the ice from the coils...
If a wire is broken or just a wire touching metal it would kick the outlet....

It also would take about three to four hours before the defrost would turn on....

So there is where I would be looking....maybe even disconnect the defrost for a day to see if it solves the problem or not....

New lg dryer squeaks for a few minutes after it is turned on

My NEW TOP of THE LINE LG Stainless Steel Steam Dryer squeks for a while when you turn it on. My solution may be to call Best Buy and have them take it back! I paid $1,700 for the pair! Unbelievable! Four hours of picking and comparing all brands has lead to this, a bad bushing or a bearing.
