I bought a dvd player from a second hand shop. I took the charger off the back and charged it overnight. The charger light is green so I think that means it is charged. I put the charger back in the dvd player and nothing happens when I turn it on. My dvd player is a spectroniq .. with a modle number of pdv-70x.
I have this model dvd player and it has worked very well for over a year. Lately it has not had a picture but has had sound when fully charged. When the green light is on, it is charging. When the light goes off, it is fully charged (or should be). I plugged the wall charger directly into the dvd player and it works fine with pic and sound. I think maybe the rechargable battery is on it last legs. I am looking for a longer cig lighter charger cord to reach the headrest so kids can watch from backseat. I will be able to keep it plugged in to charger at all times. Hope this helps!
