We have a JGD8130ADB21 Jenn Air Gas Downdraft Cooktop. The manual says the blower scroll can be rotated 180 degrees, but after several attempts, I can't figure how its done. I've received diagrams directly from Jenn Air. The diagrams point out plastic plugs to which I find none. I need to rotate the blower straight down to the floor to vent it under the house to the outside. Any and all help appreciated.

How do you get the inside area of the vent clean from the grease and oils where the filter is?? I have a rectangular box style downdraft that the vent goes into the floor, I pulled the filter, but the box is to slender to get an arm into to scrub the grease....... does the bottom come off, or is it a sealed unit? How do you get all the brease from the bottom if you cannot reach it?

Hi, W/D here.

The plenum is the box the blower assembly attaches to. The blower pulls the cooking vapors down the plenum (well) and discharges through the duct.
