I HAVE DOWNLOADED A WHOLE SERIES OF A TV PROGRAMME, HOWEVER THE FILES ARE NOT AVI - THEY ARE MKV FILES- I CAN PLAY THEM ON PC NO PROBLEM AND HAVE EVEN REMOVED SUBTITLES SUCCESSFULLY - HOWEVER HOW DO I BURN THEM USING NERO TO DVD? WHEN I AM TRYING TO ADD THE FILES IT IS NOT LOCATING THEM AND WHEN I SELECT ALL FILE TYPES TO ADD THEM IT STICKS FOR AN ETERNITY AND DOES NOT ADD THEM TO BURN TO DISC. HELP!?
Step 1: Download Nero and install it on your computer.
Step 2: Insert an empty DVD disc with enough capacity to store the MKV file. Make sure your computer has been equipped with a DVD disc drive (both internal and external DVD drive are OK).
Step 3: Open Nero and load the MKV to the program by choosing "DVD" on the top left corner. Usually this is the default window once you opened the program (1).
Step 4: Select the type of media you want to burn. Usually, you can choose the "DVD-Video" to start burning MKV to DVD disc (2).
Step 5: Set the related burning factors and DVD disc. For example, you can select the "Write speed" which will be the best if it is set like 4X (3).
Step 6: Once all the settings have been done, you can click "New" option on the below of the panel to start burning MKV to DVD disc (4).
I am using Aimersoft DVD Creator to convert mkv to dvd, that's a good one and easy use, you can have try.

Thanks. I have successfully downloaded the required convertor - however it is going through the transcoding process then referring back to main page without burning the dvd?? it stops short of burning to disc every time???
