SOURCE: Maytag MGS5770 Gas Kitchen Range display is out.

Must be a bad oven control. Looking at the wiring diagram I see a hot wire from the power terminal to the fan and onwards into the ovencontrol. Must be a fried relay on that control board. Ya might want to remove the control and look for signs of failure.

This stove has these sealed burners:

Give em a twist and lift these puppys out like this:

If it ain't on the back then remove the bottom drawer and it will be under a shield in there.
Hard to tell on the diagram

I have a gas stove/oven the ignitors to the top clicks but doesn't spark and the oven doesn't work at all?maytag performance

Number 13 and 22 is the parts I suspect.

13 is the ignitor which even if it glows could be weak, It must pull at least 3.5 amps to open the gas safety valve. The spark module(number 22) could also be weak and not putting out enough juice to light them burners. Seen it.

Maytag stove MGS5770ADB - Burners will not light - ignators

The spark module should be behind the rear panel of the range, or behind the bottom drawer, mounted on the interior back wall. If you go to searspartsdirect.com, the part is listed as item number 22 under the "Gas Controls" heading. The part number is 74004283. Just type in your model number and follow the links on the next page. There are helpful drawings to assist you. If in doubt, trace the wires from the the surface igniters and they all will lead back to the spark module. I hope this information helps you. Let me know if you need further assistance.

Gas ignitors do not shut off

Are you saying the spark module is constantly sparking? If so, you may have one of your surface burner switches shorted, causing the spark module to stay on. Or, you could have a ground in your wiring harness to the spark module. Here's a way to check: 1. Unplug range, or turn off circuit breaker. 2. Locate your spark module. It's usually located in the back of the oven cavity, or behind the rear panel. There should be a wire going from the spark module to each burner switch. Carefully disconnect each burner switch one at a time and re-energize your range to see if the problem goes away. If the problem doesn't go away, turn the range back off, reconnect the switch and move to the next switch wire. 3. If you disconnect each switch and the problem persists, then I would suspect an internal short in the spark module, or a ground in your wiring somewhere. There should be a tech sheet with diagrams located somewhere on the back of the range to assist you. I hope this helps.
