Most image problems such as fuzzy picures are related to cartridge problems. If you are are using refilled or remanufactured cartridges then you are reaping the benefit of saving money over original HP cartridges. In most cases it is only one color that is causing the problem, you just need to determine which cartridge is bad and replace it. If the defect has a certain color dominant such as yellow or magenta that is the cartridge I would check first. Pay close attention to the drum on the cartridge (the green shiny roller on bottom of cartridge). It should be smooth and shiny with no lines or marks visible. A bad cartridge will typically have scratches all over the drum.
Not sure I understand what you mean by green shadow. I would check the fluid in the green and blue CRTS and verify they are clear. I would do this if the green color seemed fuzzy or blotchy looking on the screen.
When looking on a blank screen, do you see any arc lines of either green, blue or red? If so, you would need to lower the screen voltage for that particular CRT.
If the Green appears to be " Glowing" around objects and the color tints are all wrong then its most likely a CRT coolant issue. If the picture appears as 3D with a possible arc in the screen then you can assume its a convergence issue.
Which cable are you using? Are you using the component cable? Have you accidentally switched the red/green/blue somehow? Or may someone have played a trick on you, rearranging them?
