Try resetting your unit. Hold down the power button for 20 or more seconds; when you release the power button, the Sansa Connect will restart on its own. If it doesn't restart, you did not hold down the power button long enough -- try again. Hope this helps:) Jason

It froze up and the songs dont play right

It could be that your HD is going. Although you might want to reset it.

Hold the middle button and the menu button until it turns black with the Apple in the middle.

This could have been caused by unplugging when it was not ready to be ejected.

Sansa disk e 260

I had the same problem with mine freezing. It happened when I kept pressing the back track button (on left side) to go back to an earlier song. It then froze in the middle of a song, couldn't hear the song, the time of the song was frozen, etc., and the unit stayed lit, despite pressing all the buttons. I tried holding down power but nothing happened. I read another person's post that you need to hold it down 15-30 seconds. I did this and it worked, you just have to hold it down until it shuts down, which was about 15 seconds as suggested, could be longer for others.
For me, next time I wont keep clicking the tracks repeatedly, I'll simply go out of the song and back to the song I want through the menu.
Thank you for the good posts. Glad I didn't have to mess with the battery like others....

Frozen screen

All you reaaly have to do is let the battery run out. Then once the mp3 is dead, charge it. The screen should be unfrozen.
