How to change recording on day/ night mode

I am having trouble changing my day/night greeting on my Panasonic KX-DT343 phone. I have tried going through the settings and changing the night mode greeting in the voicemail, however it is not changing the day/night button's greeting. I cannot find this setting in the manual I downloaded either (The secretary that I am replacing failed to keep the paper copy). Any help in fixing this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance

This depends what voicemail you have, SVM OR TVM. and you need to know what group rings in each mode SVM day *47 (voicemail extension number) (PIN number) *38801 record STORE NIGHT *47 (voicemail extension number) (PIN number) *38811 record STORE TVM voicemail extension number (500 or 200) #6* (ringing group number) option 3 then 1 then 1 follow the prompts

How do I record greetings in Day, Lunch and Night Modes?

This PBX system are you using? if it is an asterisk based pbx, you will need to do a GotoIf statement in extensions.conf.
GotoIfTime(09:00-18:00,,,?[labeliftrue][:labeliffalse])
If you are using UI based system, you can simply do it in the timegroup and timecondition page.

Panasonic KX T7433 - I need to change the night mode message howevern when I select intercom 165 or intercom greeting and change the message I am unable to select the new message as the new night mode...

It's only that simple if you have a guide to what Custom Service or greeting plays now. When the system moves from Day to Night mode, the installer assigns a menu that plays. You can change it if you know which one. If you don't get the right one, there would be 98 other custom service and 31 other Company messages that you could record to and they'll never play.

Hi, I am having a problem trying to update my phone greeting on my Panasonic KX-T7633 . Can you assist?

This is an answer to the question you asked, how to update YOUR phone greeting. Either rate this as a FixYA (4 starts) or don't rate it at all if you're asking a different question.

When you dial into your voice mail from your phone, if you use 500, you're in your VM greeting and the lady says "enter password" or "you have xxx" messages. Option 31 and 1,2 or 3 for greetings. Note: If it says something about "temporary greeting" then select option 5 instead of 31 to change or delete the temp greeting. The other VM access code we use is 165 instead of 500. It's a left over number from the TD series systems.

If you have ESVM, where you can go off-hook and dial *383 to retrieve your messages, You access the recordings by dialing *382. If it starts to play back, then you need to consult your OM (Operating manual) or listen to the prompts to change your greetings for day and night.

Night switching for KX-T7630

You have 4 different modes of calling available to be programmed: DAY NIGHT BREAK and LUNCH. Your installer has to set up the ICD groups, but you can create a LUNCH group which looks like the day mode but rings all phones. The codes are accessed by dialing on the intercom *780x where 0 is day 1 is night 2 is lunch and 3 is break.

You may use the NIGHT mode in the daytime, but if you have voice mail, it will play the night greeting instead of a day greeting.

Voice mail

Presuming you have a TVS or TVA Voice Processing System, Do you have a list of what greeting is assigned to which number? If not, you have to go into the VPS and understand how it was set up; then make a new greeting in the proper place (either recording over the existing one, or in a new position), and assign it to the night menu.
