The Control is programmed to stop running and not allow any further cycles if it detects a water heating problem (no temperature increase detected in heated Main Wash on 3 consecutive cycles). The Control will flash the Clean LED 7 times repeatedly and will disable the Start/Resume key until cleared.
To clear and reset the control press in this order: Heated Dry ? Normal ? Heated Dry ? Normal and then let the unit run for 1-2 minutes and then press Cancel and let the dishwasher complete the cancel cycle. The dishwasher should operate normally again unless it does not detect a temperature rise in the main wash cycle.
It could be caused by a Heater circuit problem if it continues to stop and flash the Clean light.
It could have one of the following failures:
Open in heater.
Open connection or component in heater circuit.
Faulty heater drive circuit on control.
It can also be caused by the wash pump not pumping water past the heater efficiently.
Nov 16, 2009 - When I hold down the Heated Dry button to turn the control lock on it ...my dishwasher start and why does the "Heated Dry" light keep blinking ...
How long does it take for the image to be saved? I used to have an older camera that took 4-5 seconds to save picture while a red "busy" light flashed. Some cameras just aren't as fast as others and so you may want to buy a new one.
Door latch. Open and close the door to make sure the door latch is securely fastened
Hi-Temp Wash, Hi-Temp Rinse, or Sanitize options. Some models have options that may require a water heating delay, such as Hi-Temp Wash, Hi-Temp Rinse, or Sanitize. Additional time may be required to heat the water to the proper temperature. The dishwasher will continue to circulate water during this heating delay but the timer will not advance until the proper temperature is reached
It seems the Red-eye reduction feature of the flash is ON. In this mode, the camera emits a pre-flash and then the actual flash discharges after a delay. Or it could be on Slow Sync. In this, the flash fires at the end of the exposure. Just go to Flash modes (the lightning-like icon) and if it is showing an eye-like icon or the word 'slow', change it to some other mode, probably the flash ON or OFF mode. Also, make sure that the batteries are fully charged.

The 'Start' & 'Pause' LED's will flash together to indicate the
error code. You have to count the flashes within each 15 second period
to get that error code. The start and the pause LED's will flash
together at 1Hz (i.e 1 flash per second) within that 15 second time
frame, then will continue and show again within another 15secs and so
on.
