K790 Power button broken

Try unplugging speaker wires from unit then power on. If it still says it u have an internal short. If it doesnt hook one speaker up at a time and see if it says it. Might be bad speaker or wiring.

Does it click when you press the power button? If so, and the fuse is good, could be your power transformer. There is a thermal fuse inside of it that can open and cause a no-power situation.

- I switch off my k790 and changed a sim card but could not turn it on. Whonever I press the power on button a red light flashes near the infrared port.The same problem occurred whenever I inserted the data cable and my computer does recognised my phone.-

do u have the number stored for more than one entry? It might not work then...

have the keyboard clean or replaced.
