Frozen ''hellomoto'' screen on Razor V3c when turning on phone

Every time I turn on my phone the "Hellomoto" screen stays on and flashes white for a second only to return to the "Hellomoto" screen again.

The only way I can turn it off is by taking the battery out.

If I close the phone the outside screen is lit but blank. My phone is frozen on the hellomoto screen and the outside stays lit up and has the Motorola Symbol.

Yes I have the same problem. I was using my phone one minute and then it just turned off and I couldn't get it to come on again. After a few attempts, it finally came on but is now stuck on the HelloMoto screen. There's nothing I can do to shut it off either except to remove the battery and I can't seem to find an answer on the motorola website either.

You have a couple of options:
Take it to a motorola repairer or try to update the firmware on your phone. As you cant get it to go past the Hellomoto screen a hard reset would not possible.

New phone won't turn on just has "Hellomoto" screen

hi.there...don't worry.. what happens with your new cellphone..is normal..why? when your battery is low and there a pop up screen at the display "battery low...please recharge" that's mean you must charge the battery soon.
when connect your phone to charger adapter and your battery is very low / weak condition the display only showing "hellomotto" and nothing else. but it's normal! diplay need more power from you battery to showing all information.after the battery reach the minimum power to display it ( usually after 15-20' charging) try to push red bottom at your keypad phone and the display will showing again..good luck..

Frozen ''hellomoto'' screen on Razor V3c when turning on phone

your firmware is corrupt, the only way to revive your phone is re flashing it.Its hard to do, and by doing it wrong may damage your phone. To safely retrieve your phone is let the experts do it or go to a near cell repair shop and let them help you out,

if you want to do it your self, try this

first you need is a RSD lite program or flash and back-up to flash or reformat your Motorola,

to enter the bootloader

hold * then the # then power button, your phone will boot to bootloader, and you will see there the flash program of your phone,

start the program rsd lite or flash and backup
then connect it to your computer VIA usb, automatically the program will detect your phone,

i prefer that you first buck up your firmware by using F&B (Flash and backup) then use RSD lite to flash your Motorola,

RSD lite its much easier to use than F&B, but for safety backup first your firmware,
