For low water volume - or "Trickling" effect...

1. Turn off the water supply to both hoses.
2. Remove hoses (one at a time so you don't get them confused)
3. On the washer side - look for a removeable screen inside wher you just removed the hose.
4. Using a small screwdriver - pop out the screen and reverse-flush it/clean it. It will likely be full of sediment and calcium deposits from your pipes.
5. Replace the inlet screens.
6. Re-fit the hose to the machine.
7. Turn on water supply valves.
8. re-try.

How does soap dispenser work? what does up for liquid and down for powder mean?

Liquid laundry soap (comes in plastic liquid container) uses the up. Dry powder laundry soap uses the soap that comes in a box, therefore not liquid. and uses the down switch slider control.

Where do you add laundry products?

There is a drawer on the top left hand side, next to the circular dial. Pull it out and it is labeled. For liquid soap, there is an insert that goes in the soap area. Don't use liquid soap unless that is present!

I make homemade liquid laundry saop and when I use

you NEED to buy real washing soap from a store. I recommend Tide because you may be mixing wrong ingredients or not adding something. If buying new/real soap doesnt work i would go to a sears or email sears at their website and tell them.

Everytime we do laundry, we have a horrible smell in the washing machine. We have tried bleach and hot water but no success. Any other ideas?

Be sure your using HE Laundry det. only use the recommended amount on the bottle, I use the liquid, the less the better, I use the least amount.....To much soap left in clothes can cause mildew and stinky smell, also I recommend using a fabric softner, it helps to remove the soap....and smells good....also use a good washer cleaner, I use Affresh, they come in tablets, go to www.affresh.com and put in you zipcode to find where you can purchase it in you area......make sure after a load is finished that it doesn't sit in the tub with the lid down for long, removing the laundry promptly will also help with stinky laundry........also, leave the lid or door open for a couple of days to air it out after cleaning.....use the Affresh at least once a month.......hope this helps you

Lg wm1812cw front load washer

We had the same problem- for us it was because we were mixing laundry booster (Oxyclean) with liquid soap in the dispenser. It seems the water running through the tray had insufficient pressure to properly flush the tray out, so residue accumulated on the back & underside of the tray. Our water pressure is good here, and we don't use a water softener or filters that can reduce the pressure. Unfortunately it seems to just be a bad design of the soap dispenser tray.

We also had a problem with water/bleach leaking from our soap dispenser- when we used the bleach compartment in the dispenser we got leaks dripping onto the floor from behind the front cover of the washing machine. It was running down the front of the washer behind the front cover & coming out onto the floor. The repair guy said this was because the dispenser tray was pulled out too far, but the reason we were pulling the soap tray out so far was because the bleach compartment was too far back in the tray to use if we didn't. Now we just leave the drawer partially closed & pour the bleach directly into the soap compartment along with the soap.
