Deskjet F2210 wont scan

In order to use the scanning feature you would need to install the drivers and other software that comes with the printer. If you haven't install either, please visit http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/product?cc=us&lc=en&dlc=en&product=3571755
and download the drivers for your operating system. It should come with some sort of imaging suite that would allow you to scan documents and save them to the computer.

the scan function won\'t work on my HP Deskjet F4280. When I press the scan button, all that happens is the light on the power button starts flashing. Any assistance would be much appreciated

if you want to scan something and import into computer ..you have to install the driver and the software for it ...and initiate the job from the software into the computer ..this way it will scan and import it in the same time into the library of the software ..in there you ca copy ..manage and edit..

1. You may have a defective transfer motor for the scanner.
2. The signal to the motor may not be getting to the motor via the cable to the motor.
3. You did not provide the model number for your device.
You will need to also reference you instruction manual for troubleshooting and or call your manufacturer for service.

Keep press smoothly the ceter button stop for more than 10 sec. You will hear a sound and lights bliping.
now fill the filter with coffee and press the button you want to program and keep it press untill you will have the required dose in then cup.
Now the dose is set.
you can program all other buttons in the same way.
after you finish you can press once the stop buttong again. The machine is been programed and ready to be used.
You can reprogram any button you want again following the same prosedure.

reinstall drivers

1. Installed software ?
2. On the software when you click SCAN
does it make any noise? or movement?
3. If the software is installed correctly then you might have to:
a. reboot the computer
b. turn off the printer / reset
c. see if this works

1) Close the print head cover, and turn off the printer. While pressing the Resume/Cancel button, press the Power button. (Do not release the buttons. The LED lights in green to indicate that a function is selectable.) 2) While holding the Power button, release the Resume/Cancel button. (Do not release the Power button.) 3) While holding the Power button, press the Resume/Cancel button 3 times, and then release the Power and Resume/Cancel buttons. 4) When the LED stops blinking and lights in green, press the Resume/Cancel button 4 times. Finally press the Power button.

Normal 0 Driver could be corrupt.
Disconnect the printer or at least be sure it is turned off. I'd do both and reinstall the CD software program that came with the printer. When the software program asks you to connect the printer to the USB port, do so and it should again work properly.
