Where do I locate the fuse for GE Profile electric range Model J BP79 A0B2AA?

The fuse for a GE Profile electric range model JBP79A0B2AA is usually located behind the control panel, near the power cord. You may need to use a putty knife or thin flathead screwdriver to gently pry the control panel away from the wall before accessing the fuse.

GE Trivection JT930SOH1 Oven, touch screen not lighting up

The thermal fuse in your GE Trivection JT930SOH1 oven is likely located behind the touch screen control panel. In order to access the thermal fuse, you will likely need to remove the control panel.
Before attempting to access or repair the thermal fuse, it's important to ensure that the oven is unplugged and that you have taken proper safety precautions, such as wearing gloves and eye protection.
Instructions to access the thermal fuse may vary depending on the specific model of your oven, so it's recommended to check the owner's manual for your oven or contact GE for instructions.
However, in general, you may be able to access the thermal fuse by first removing the control knobs and screws that secure the control panel in place. Then, you'll likely be able to lift the control panel off of the oven to access the thermal fuse.
It's important to note that the thermal fuse is a safety device, and it's designed to blow if the oven overheats. If the thermal fuse is blown, it will need to be replaced. If the fuse is not blown and the touch screen is still not lighting up, it could be a problem with the touch screen itself or a problem with the wiring or other electrical components of the oven.
It's recommended to contact a certified technician to diagnose and fix the problem.

Where is the fuse for whirlpool microwave model number WMH31017HZ07.

The fuse for the Whirlpool microwave model WMH31017HZ07 is located inside the microwave oven. You will need to remove the outer cover of the microwave to access the fuse. Here are the steps to follow:
  1. Unplug the microwave from the power source.
  2. Remove the screws on the top of the microwave that hold the top grill in place. Remove the grill.
  3. Locate the screws that hold the control panel in place. Remove the screws and carefully pull the control panel forward.
  4. Locate the fuse holder on the right side of the control panel. Remove the fuse holder by pulling it out.
  5. Check the fuse to see if it is blown. If it is, replace it with a new fuse of the same type and rating.
  6. Reinstall the fuse holder, control panel, and top grill.
  7. Plug the microwave back in and test to see if the light is working.
If the light still does not turn on after replacing the fuse, there may be another issue with the microwave and it may require further troubleshooting or repair.

Whirlpool self cleaning oven Model RBD245 door will not open after self cleaning cycle

Whirlpools are notorious for tripping the thermal fuse on the back of the oven but there is a thermal fuse to the control board also on most electronic control models. It is a good chance you will need to replace both fuses.

Many ovens have a bi-metal thermal fuse-also called a thermal limit switch-that protects the oven from overheating. The oven thermal fuse trips when the temperature in the oven gets too hot. After the thermal fuse trips, the oven won't heat. If the thermal fuse trips after the self-cleaning cycle, try resetting the fuse by turning off electricity to the oven, removing the exterior back panel, and pushing the reset button. If the fuse tripped during normal operation, replace it. If the problem persists, the electronic oven control board might require replacement. Reset the thermal fuse after replacing the control board.

LP gas range oven is full of soot

either the spud on the orfice that feeds gas hasn't been turned down on the orfice or if it has then the air shutter hasn't been opened up to where it says L.P. on the shutter as L.P. needs more air to complete combustion,if the flame can be seen flaring up then its the orfice spud and if this isn't adjusted, then most likely the air shutter hasn't been adjusted either

My jvm 1861 oven does not power on at all. how do i disassemble the control panel to replace the fuse

At our Web site, we have a video available showing how to remove a typical over the range grille and control panel assembly in under 5 minutes.

The fuse should be accessible after removing only the grille, with no need to remove the controller.

According to a similar model's service manual:

"The fuse is located on the upper duct mounted to the Noise filter.
1. Disconnect power and remove grille.
2. Replace the fuse."

You can find handy exploded views and order parts by model number

No display on microwave touchpad for ge Model JKP62G

The GE JKP62G Microwave / Oven combination has an internal fuse behind the control panel for the microwave. The oven will operate but the microwave will be totally dead (no light, no clock). Turn off the breaker for the oven at the fuse box (30 Amp double breaker). In order to replace the fuse you will have to open the door to the microwave, remove the two screws (Torx) from the front control panel (located on the left edge of the control panel), wiggle the panel to the left (there are two metal tabs that stick into the metal frame of the microwave on the right of the panel) and then tilt the panel down from the top. There is a metal bracket that holds the control panel to the microwave at the bottom (don't remove it). Look towards the top of the microwave inside the area behind the control panel and you will see a 15 Amp screw in fuse. Replace the fuse and that should fix your problem.
