SOURCE: i forgot my UTstarcom gtx75

When the password for your device is not known the best way to get it fixed is by refering to an expert for decoding. Your unit is not a very common one so there are almost noo universal codes for the unlock when original set password cannot be located. The unlock procedure requires the device to be connected to a PC and a software would help decode a new unlock code for it. Although before this procedure would be carried out for you a means of identification would be needed.
Hope this solution has been helpful?

How to softwhere reset GTX75 airtyme torrid mobile

Try this: The web interface offers a simple way to reset to factory defaults. It is necessary to login to the phone`s admin account to perform a full reset. Go to the "Advanced" screen. Click on "Factory Reset" then "Submit" and "Reboot phone". Early manufactured phones can be reset to factory defaults, including admin and user passwords, using the undocumented ATE menu feature. 1) Invoke the ATE menu and wait for the "Func No:" prompt. 2) Enter 37 and press the green key. Wait for "Success" and press red key. 3) Enter 38 and press the green key. Wait for "Success" and press red key. 4) Enter 41 (=Clear User Data) and press the green key. Wait for "Success" and press red key. 5) Turn the phone off and back on - it should be totally cleared and the default passwords will be set. WARNING: Performing the ATE reset will also clear the phonebook entries and all user-specific settings.

TRYING TO FIND AN IMEI #

Have you tried *#06# and then "Ok" or "Call" or simply type in *#06# on the main menu (on the screen as you type numbers). If this isn't helpful, then it must be written somewhere inside the battery compartment. Turn off the phone and look inside the compartment where the model number is written.

If you need further help, let me know with the model name.

Good luck.

Thanks for using FixYa.

I downloaded a bunch of ringtones and a few wallpapers to my phone. Today the screen went out on me. I can't see the screen to delete the stuff out or to reset it. What do i do

Occasionally you may need to reset your Pocket PC Phone. A normal (or soft) reset of your device clears all active program memory and shuts down all active programs. This can be useful when the device is running slower than normal, or a program is not performing properly. A soft reset is also necessary after the installation of some programs. If a soft reset is performed when programs are running, unsaved work will be lost.
To perform a soft reset:
o Use the stylus to lightly press and hold the RESET button on the bottom of your device. The device restarts, and then displays the Today screen.
Warning! Always turn off your device before performing a soft reset or installing/replacing the battery.
You can also perform a hard reset (also known as a full reset). A hard reset should be performed only if a normal reset does not solve a system problem. After a hard reset, the device is restored to its default settings-the way it was when you first purchased it and turned it on. Any programs you installed, data you entered, and settings you customized on the device will be lost. Only Windows Mobile software and other pre-installed programs will remain
To perform a hard reset:
  1. Press and hold both soft keys on the device. Keep these keys pressed, and at the same time, use the stylus to lightly press and hold the RESET button on the bottom of your device.
  2. Release the stylus but keep the soft keys pressed when you see the following message on your device screen. "Do you want to erase all user data and restore to manufacture default?" will appear.
  3. Slide open the hardware keyboard, and press R to restore to factory default or press X to exit the hard reset process.
Hope this helps, let me know if I can help you with anything else.
