Casio FR 1211 Printing Calculator print is very faint. I have no manual, and all I see on the bottom is "do not add ink to ink roller." Can't figure out a way to open it or add ink.
You need to buy a new roller. They're very cheap. I just bought a two pack on eBay for 3.99, free shipping. You need to buy a new roller. They're very cheap. I just bought a two pack on eBay for 3.99, free shipping.

I have a Casio FR-1211 Printing Calculator and I have the same problem. I removed the roller and tried inking the roller with "Sanford's Roll-On Stamp Pad Inker". It works beautifully ! I don't know how long it will last, but for now the print is dark and clear.

There should be a wide slot in the bottom of the calculator. In the slot is a black plastic tab. Pinch the tab and pull it straight out and you'll be holding a PR-72 ink roller. Push a new one in the same way, and it will snap into place. As the warning says, don't try to add ink to an old roller. Excess ink will gum up your printer. PR-72 is a Porelon product number, from page 5 of this catalog. Other manufacturers make the same roller and give it a similar name: NR72, IR-72, something like that.
