"MAC Address Invalid" message
leave MAC's alone,
in the router pages , see "find/show leased IP,"
you will see the IP that your router DHCP server assigned to all MAC .
that is the job of DHCP not you.
then if you want to test that IP (matched) to fixed IP as we do on camera's or printers. then leave the router alone
and then setup your network on you PC correctly.
with working drivers, bingo ethernet works wired.
and bingo same for wifi, drivers all correct from OEM PC maker website and set in your wifi credentials. end.
for internet (in the router settings)
router, DNS = 1.1.1.1. ( cloudflare DNS king) bingo for iternet
same is true for Ethernet wired and wifi and the MAC is not the same IP. let DHCP find it.
if DHCP is turned off in the router "Dang"! put it on.
if dns is turned off same place, double dang.
in the PC turn off proxy in network settings or any browser .
