Have you tried to restart your phone? Try turning it off and then back, and see if that fixes it.
Have you installed any apps on your phone? See if uninstalling some of these apps might help your problem.
It would help to know what you have done with your phone since this error has come up (have you rooted the phone, installed a theme, apps, what settings you might have changed, did it work previously)

All i did was take out my SD card and wait 15 seconds then put it back in the phone. I did not see the process com.htc.launcher error anymore.

Try this.
settings>applications>Manage applications>(select the "ALL" tab)>select "Market"
then "Clear data"
Download the latest market .apk file from
thegadgets.net, make sure you keep it in the root directory of SD card.
Once downloaded, install the market app with the help of apkinstaller
If still the problem persist hard reset your phone.

I would start with a Master Reset. That's the best place to start.
Pulling the battery doesn't really do anything but fix little problems.
Resetting the phone deletes all data, including downloaded applications, and resets the phone back to its initial state. Press HOME > MENU, then tap Settings > Security > Factory data reset. On the Factory data reset screen, tap Reset phone and then tap Erase everything. To reset the phone using phone buttons, with the phone turned off, press and hold the HOME, END CALL/POWER, and BACK buttons. The reset process will start after a few seconds

Welcome to Fixya. To fix the issue you need to reset the phone to its factory settings
To reset the phone using buttons:
With the phone turned off, press and hold down the volume down and send buttons, then press the end/power button.
You will see 3 Android images at the bottom of the screen.
Follow the instructions onscreen to reset your phone.
Tip: If your phone hangs or freezes, remove the battery then wait for a few seconds, and then re-install it. After re-installing the battery, turn on the phone.
