Fisher and Paykel IWL12 leaking

Our FP IWL12 has developed a small leak under the machine. Tipped the machine over and the only area which seems to have water on it is the bottom of the pump. So i assume I need to replace the pump...Is it difficult or can it be done without calling in expensive repairmen???? What else could it possibly be??? So far everything else seems to be runnig great. Please help :)

First confirm the source of the leak. Dry the pump and all areas around it. Run a wash cycle and then check pump again. You should be able to see where the leak starts from. If it is definitely the pump, it is easy to remove. Take off wire plug & earth wire. Hold out the white plastic clip on the side of the pump and rotate pump quarter turn anti clockwise. Pump will then come out. Do the reverse to put pump back. Make a note of which way the pump faces before you take it out. Also, make sure power is unplugged before you do any work.

Hi, washer model GWC12 fisher and paykel. machine goes beeps and only long wash and second rinse cycle orange lights is on.tried off power from the wall and follow every steps that is mention in the manual...

It is showing fault code 130 which is a RPS or Rotor position sensor fault, This is located on the motor stator under the washing machine, Most often this is caused by water leaking past the seal and onto the motor. You need to check for signs of leaking or moisture and as long as there isn't any you may get away with just replacing the RPS. Please note that RPS faults can also cause damage to the electronic motor controller module which won't be able to be diagnosed until you have replaced the RPS.

I have a Fisher Pakel washer GWL11 and it has developed a small leak under the washer. The cycle stops at rense and just quits. Any suggestions on what needs replacing?

Sounds like it could be overfilling Just a little and while it is agitating it will be splashing over, To fix this you will need to replace the MCU,

Probably moisture in the control panel, check the lid inside is making a good seal, If it is leaking don't use it until repaired of you will do a lot more damage.

Fisher & Paykel GWL11 Leaking water

If you cannot see the water leaking from the inlet valves, check the seal just above the water pump located directly under the drum. I am in the midst of awaiting parts to fix this very thing on my FP GWL11. This leak is dripping water directly onto the motor, causing it to trip the circuit breaker during drain/spin cycles.

Note... I have also had to have the inlet valve assembly replaced as well as it was not opening to allow cold water to mix with the hot.

Hope this helps.
