Cancelled document in printing que, will not delete

When attempting to print a web page document, the process froze at the 35 % and after a few minutes, I attempted to cancel the prining process. Now the document shows in the printer cue as "deleting", but it will not cancel and go away. This was yesterday. I have recancelled it several times, disconnected the printer, rebooted the computer several times, but the document is still in the printer que with a status of deleting. I cannot use the printer at all until this is resolved.

I have an HP printer. There is a full page photo that will not print. When I try to cancel the job is states deleting but does not delete. It deletes other added print jobs but not that one which is...

You have to clear out all documents one by one in the print que before you can delete the one causing the trouble. On the bottom right side of your pc screen, find the picture of the printer and right click with your mouse on it. Open your print que and right click on each document and choose "delete" until therer are none left in the print que. If this does not clear that last document, then unplug your usb cord that connects the printer to your pc and wait a few moments, and then plug it back in. This should clear it out.

There has been a pending document in the que. I tried to delete the document but now it states deleting next to the document in the que. Can not print anything.

Open the Print Que and see if it will let you pause the print job. Then close the que and turn the printer off. Open the print que again and see if it will let you delete it. For some reason every now and again a que will hang. This process should reset the que. It will dump everything in printer memory and should release the document to delete the job. In any event pausing the job should release the printer to print other jobs.

Unable to print to canon IR7200

More than likely their is a problem with the file or that it is too large to process and has gotten stuck in the que on the copier. Go into printer set up and find restart server or clear server - it's ussually at the back end of all the settings. You want to clear the server and restart it. Then try printing a few pages of the file to see if their is an issue with it. If that prints then print half of the file, if it's has a lot of graphics pick a smaller chunk. You can also restart the server through the copiers internal web page - to get to that type the copiers ip address into internet explorer and it should bring it up.

Print job stuck in printer que

Try to power off your computer and printer and let it stay for 5 minutes. Then turn on your printer and computer to see if pending print jobs we're cancelled.

If the problem still there, you can kill the spool process running on your taskbar. Press control + alt +delete button to open the task bar and delete the process from the processes tab.

I attempted to print a 25 page document, with reverse pages. Only 9 pages printed. I cannot print anything now. and the message on the printer reads, DATA REMAINING. I have pushed every button...

It seems the printer buffer memory has overflowed. Cancel the print from the print Que and switch off the printer. Give your PC a reboot too. Now switch on the printer and make sure that there is no document in the print Que. If its still there, disconnect the printer and delete the pending job, i.e. print Que. After the printer shows it ready for printing do not release the entire document for printing at one go. Breakup the print job in 3 parts and for each part manually enter the page numbers and then give the print command. Repeat this till the entire lot is over..........................sodeep

Dell Laser Printer 1720dn Will only print test pages. When attempting to print a document, I click on 'Print', and the command is sent to the printer que, but the printer doesn't print. I've tried deleting...

Check that the correct printer is set as default. Also use File Print so that the selected printer is shown rather than using the Print button. If the test pages are being printed from the computer then the communication is working.
