Motorola Mobility MOTORAZR2 V9 Cellular Phone Logo

Battery life My battery use to hold a charge on my Motorazr2 v9m for well over a week. Now my charge is lasting for only about a 24 hours. I think I accidently hit some of the buttons on the side but I am not certain this is the cause of my problem. The phone was purchased last October. Needless to say I find it strange that the battery charge has gone from being charged every 7 - 10 days to about every 24 hours. Thanks for your assistance.

It must be battery's defect that prevented it from retaining the charge. You may want to replace the battery. I just got one from www.wirelessunlimitedonline.com for $6.95 w/ free shipping.

How do you know when the chair is charged when charging the chair when its off

Generally, it's best to charge overnight, since many batteries will take at least 8 hours to achieve a full charge. But don't be too overzealous with this, as leaving your battery charging for more than 24 consecutive hours can have a negative effect.

I have a portable DVD player,Yukai 700 I have charged the battery several times , but it only lasts five minutes in its dead. Once I charged it for three hours done for seven hours in the last time 24...

This means that the battery is unable to hold a charge any longer. THe only option in this case is to replace the rechargeable battery for your Yukai 700. A battery has a charge life meaning you can only charge it for a set number of times. It seems that it has already exceeded that.

Motorhome house batteries were dead because five hold lights were left on. It has been pluged into ac for 24 hours and lights when turned on are quite dim. Do think the batteries have been damaged?

It is possible the batteries were damaged but if they were healthy and not too old, they probably weren't damaged.

The in-house charger will be either an intelligent type or a low current type, both of which would be unsuitable for recharging a completely discharged battery.

The batteries should be removed and independently charged with something more suitable and in the case of a deep discharge it might be necessary to give them an electrical kick to get them started - like starting a 12 volt battery off with a 24 volt charger.

It is important to monitor the current and ensure it doesn't heat the batteries very much as that shortens their life. If the batteries aren't sealed don't be tempted to top up the liquid in the cells as the level will rise as the battery is charged.

Think of charging a battery like filling a tank - the capacity of the tank divided by the fill rate gives an indication of how long the tank will take to fill. A 100 AH battery at an average charge current of 5 amps will take 20 hours to recharge.
Realistically the average charge rate will be much less from the average battery charger and if the battery is no longer young it will take longer for the necessary internal chemical changes to take place so recharging fully is likely to take anything from a couple of days to a week.

It is important to ensure they are fully charged before being put into service again in order to avoid partial sulphation. The best method of checking is with a hydrometer but that is impossible with sealed batteries and a voltmeter provides an alternative. An accurate measurement of battery voltage can only be made when the battery has been off charge for several hours.

Motorola radius cp200 will not hold a charge

when charging a new battery for the FIRST time, most require a full 24 hours to be properly charged. Failing to do this will drastically diminish the life of the battery. If you did fully charge the battery the first time, another issue is recharging after EVERY use vs charging when completely drained. Battery will develop memory (although the manf. will say other wise). If you charge after every use and have only used a third of the charge, after a few time of doing this, you will notice that the battery will not last as long. Try one more battery in just one raido. Fully charge it the first time and only recharge when COMPLETLY drained. If the battery is still not holding a charge, it is most likly a short in the radio itself. Return it.

Battery will not get any charge

Cell phone batteries are only good for about 300 charges then they go kaput. Take your charger to the store and try it there likely just a bad battery. Or a faulty charger, they will be able to tell you at US Cellular they have test equipment that they can check the battery and the charger and the phone charging circuit, I've never been charged for that service.

LG viewty ku990 - no battery life and phone gets really hot

Hi

I dont know if this will help you, but it helped me. I had the same problem, with phone not holding charge and getting really hot both during and after complete charge.
I needed my memorycard from my LG to my other phone, so I took it out, and off course the phone needed to be charged so I charged it, and... it did not get hot at all, and when it was finished, the charge lasted a day and a half!! Now the problem is I cant use the memorycard anymore in my Viewty :S Win/Loose situation i guess....

My battery does not last too much

ideally, you wouldn't recahrge the battery until it's completely flat. If you're charging it before then, you can mess with the battery, and it forgets how to retain charge.

Try letting it go completely dead, then cahrging it for around four hours completely. (don't disconnect it during this time). Let it run until it dies again, and repeat the process over a few times. You should find that after a couple times, it works fine, and you can get up to three days of battery life if you don't use it a lot.
