Music may be hidden due to virus attack. Run anti-virus software and try RePicvid Photo Recovery for Free. It would help you to recover lost music files.

Try using a program called recova or another file recovery program or if your files are still there but "hidden" click on view (windows 8 and up) and click hidden items (if that doesnt help let me know)

SOURCE: sansa mp3 player could not detect micro sd add on card

I believe you can fix it by going on the player, then to settings, then to USB mode, and switching it from MTP to MSC. If you're in MSC already and it fails to recognize, then I don't know. :(

The Card Reader you are using is probably not compatible with SDHC Memory Cards (High Capacity SD). You may need to get an SCHC compatible reader or check the website for your product to see if the is a driver update. You can get a new reader for about $20 bones if needed. I had the same issue.

I put the chip in the SanDisk to down load my music from ITunes and nothing happens i want to add my music to my smart phone please help

look at page "3/9" of this document "http://www.pqi.com.tw/upload/download/SD%20%284%29.pdf" and it will show on

the lower right hand side of the picture a slot that says "write protect", move that tab towards the pins to unlock the card.

BTW this is a good technical document for SD cards in general if you are interested in how they function.

How do i download music fRom my computer onto a SanDisk with a micro in my cell phone

hi what you will need to do is either use a USB cable from your pc to your cell phone, the memory stick (micro sd) will show as a removable device then just copy and past the mp3 files that you want to copy, the other way is to buy a sandisc micro card adapter, this looks just like a normal SD card, but at the top of it there is a slot that you put the micro SD card in then put it in a card reader as normal, then transfer the music over to that disc, when done just pull your micro sd card from the adapter and insert it into your cell phone as normal and away you go...hope this helps

2gb Sansa Fuze won't recognize 2gb Micro SD

place the blank card into the SanDisk player
go to SETTINGS press "enter"
go to SYSTEM SETTINGS press "enter
go to FORMAT press "enter"
it will ask "are you sure you want to format this device"?
select YES

dowload songs to REMOVABLE DISK drive F, at least that is what my PC assigned it to. You will overload your MP3 PLAYER if you continue to download to the Sanza Drive.

Hope this helps.

How do I use the SanDisk adaptor and the SanDisk 2GB microSD

Hello,

The micro card (the smaller one) can be used alone in a port that accepts (microSD ports)such as those on a Sansa c240, c250, e250 etc.
If you have a regular SD slot (larger than microSD) then you plug the micro card in the adapter and plug the whole into a regular SD slot.

Plug the card in your computer and copy paste the files. Or plug the micro card in an MP3 player that accepts it and use you music transfert software.

You only have one card (the micro SD one), which you can use in two possible slots.

Hope it helps.

kk to add music make sure you syn the phone and the cp do the data and all then put .mp3 on all the media files and see if it works. Then if that doesnt go to computor format the card and then put it in the phone. Otherwise you need new stuff.

Sansa Hack!!! please help!

You device is too full. You need minimum 6MB for the "music database". The more music you have, the bigger the database needs to be. Try freeing up 30MB or so, that should solve it. Please add to the question, dont select NOT HELPFUL if this didnt work. Best of Luck.
