Favorites deleted My Grandson deleted all of my faorites that I had stored. Can you tell me how to restore them

check browser history and add the sites found back into favorites.
Hopefully you do not delete browser history ?

Unfortunately no. Once they have been deleted, they are gone. However in the future, you can make a backup copy of your favorites that you can use to restore lost favorites. I've written a procedure here:

If you have backed up the computer (the entire users folder), your favorites are under users, the name you have for your account, and then favorites. Just copy this list back to the C drive (users, the name you have for your account, and favorites) from your back up. Now all your favorites are back.

You have to go into the BIOS to set up the time. This is really fairly simple. When your computer boots up, you should see a message on the screen to press the F1 or F2 key to enter Set up ( it depends on which computer you have but all will tell you which button to push). Once in the BIOS, they usually comes up to the time and date screen by default. Look down on the left corner and lower screen and it will tell you how to select and change the settings. Press F10 when complete and save settings when prompted. As for your favorites, if the recycle bin has not been emptied, you can restore the files deleted. Check there first, if not then you will have to recreate your favorites from scratch. One thing you might try is when you open the favorite panel on the left side, you can change it to History and you may be able to pull some of favorites from there and recreate them. go into control panel and open "folder options", check off show hidden files, and system files. Then do a search for "all files or folders" and type in search word "Favorites" without the quotes. Internet explorer favorites are stored in this folder and can be deleted as if they were a file. locate it icon in the favorites folder, right click and delete.
