The color option has to be given from the software you are using. Ex. if you are using Microsoft word, then when you select print, click on the advance settings option and you can select if you need color prints or grayscale/ black.
NOTE: If the printer has been powered OFF for a long period of time, the date and time may need to be reset when the printer is powered back ON.
Press the [Menu] button on the Control Panel until 'Machine Setup' is displayed on the top line of the Display Screen.
Press the [Left] or [Right] arrow button on the Control Panel until 'Date and Time' is displayed.
Press the [Enter] button on the Control Panel.
Refer to the table below to enter the current date and time using the numeric keypad.

When the date and time are correct, press the [Enter] button.
Press the [Stop / Clear] button on the Control Panel to return to the Standby mode.

have you set the page setup in document is same with page setup at print setup. Some new epson printer use paper sensor to measure the paper width. If page setup wider than actually paper inserted, the printer will print only half page.
example : Your document 10 cm wide, page setup 20 cm, and you insert 10 cm paper wide. It will print only half of 10 cm, 5 cm.
