Firstly never try to use local battery because they are not good enough and damages handset . check your battery in other mobile if its works in other mobile then your handset need to be FLASHING ie. updation is required. Update your handset and never use local battery always use nokia brand. Thanks to help you
Could be possible that the charger or the battery by itself is faulty as many of them gets reverse polarity in the cell. It will be ideal to swap and check with the same type from a friend which is most easy as many are around so as to confirm before you can invest.
Please clean the battery contacts and the terminals.
Hi, this is what you do when your phone refuses to charge..
WHEN YOU'RE HANDSET REFUSE TO CHARGE.
1. Read the battery charging terminal if it is continually.
2. Read the board interface if it continually on the charging interface.
3. Read the charging put on continuity if it is continually.
4. If they are all contacting, still not charging, then you service it by W/H i.e. washing and heating.
5. If not still charging, you trace the charging interface with another board by means of looping.
REMEMBER:
The process by which you connect a tinny copper for an external construction, or a unit interface which is known as looping.
6. If it does not charge it them means that the charging IC is bad.
ALTERNATIVELY:
You may advice the person to buy a universal charger or desk top charger and extra battery for a better charge.
This isn't really a solution but Nokia are not renowned for having the best batteries. My 6300 is also after 2-3 days in need of a charge, mainly because it's searching for a Net Work. Take the thing back and change it after 2 months something is wrong. Best regards
When your phone shows charging not supported. First, you need to try a another battery on the phone, if it says the same thing, then try to use another charger, and if it shows the same thing, then you need to fix the charging port of the phone.
Before you do that, test, your battery and charger on another phone to see what happens, if they both work fine, then you need to fix the charging port of the phone.
I suggest you remove the battery and test it with another similar phone to see if it will charge, if it does, it means the battery is ok but if it did not, it means the battery is bad and need to be change.
But if the battery is good, it means the charging port is bad, all you need to do is to change your charging port because that is the next action place to check.
Looking at this two areas should profile a solution to your problem.
