Hi!!
Here are some links where you can get drivers for your HP Compaq Presario F750US. Please click the appropriate OS for your computer.
HP Compaq Presario F750US drivers:
Windows XP Windows Vista Windows Vista 64bit
Hope this can help. Take care.
This could be due to corrupt wireless drivers or corrupt BIOS settings. To isolate this, uninstall and reinstall the wireless drivers on the notebook. If issue persists, then update BIOS and check for the issue. Incase, if the issue is unresolved, then check if the Wireless network adapter is detected in Device Manager or not.
If it is not detected, then remove and reseat the wireless network card on the notebook. Incase, if the issue is unresolved, it clearly states that the wireless card on the notebook has gone bad. At this point, I would suggest you to take the notebook to any nearest Authorized Service Center in your location.
The most likely problem is that the shop did not re-install the driver for the wireless card.
Try going here
http://www.compaq.com/country/cpq_support.html
enter the product number and check the "software and drivers" circle.
download the driver. Double click on the file to start the installer and then follow the prompts. Reboot the computer. You should at this point see your wireless pop back up. If not there are other issues and will need to research further.
When you go to hp.com, you need to ensure that you are downloading the driver for the appropriate operating system. You have to indicate whether you have the 32bit or 64bit version. It matters very much.
LCD screen replacements are available on the Internet. Make sure you select one that suits your laptop because the video and inverter connectors can be different between makes and models even though they maybe the same screen size.
Have a look at LCD Parts WEB site for parts, service and DIY info use this link :- www.lcdparts.net
If you have never taken apart a laptop before, find someone who has.
It is fare to easy to brake the new lcd or but a wrong screw in bazel cover and brake more than what was broken.
You need to download the drivers from the Compaq/HP WEB support/download page. Make sure you select your model laptop and the XP or Vista Windows version of the drivers you require and install them. Use this link to download the drivers http://h18000.www1.hp.com/cpq-country/cpq_support.html
