Black Videos When i take the video i cant hear the sound from the camera. When i upload them and play them the video is black and i only hear the sound peice is there something wrong with it?

The C182 records audio but does not play it back. To hear your videos, first transfer them to your computer and play them back there.

If you were uploading the pics to a program on your computer, it may not be capable of video transfer, only still jpegs. You could use a card reader to download the videos to a folder you create on your desktop. From there, you could try to play them with another program on your computer. You could also download a free copy of Quicktime from Apple.com to play the videos.

the camera itself does not have a speaker, but it records audio and you can hear it on the computer.

My camera does that too. I'm begining to think it's suppose to do that...I thought this was a rare problem but I guess that's just how the camera operates. Sorry this is not a solution.

Hi, you need to download camera USB driver updates from Sony Website. Please post back here if you need further info.

Okay I had the same problem with mine til just today i was messing around with it. When you plug it in to your computer look on you rcameras screen and select Mass Storage. Then a lil pop up bok will come up click on the Microsoft one and then it will take you through steps when it comes to the step where you select where you want you videos to bee click browse and select your "My Videos" folder. The click continue or next then when they finsh upload it will take you to where your videos are you can see a snapshot of your videos for the thumbnail the click play and you see the pictures and hear the sound in other words you video should be playing! :D i hope this worked!!

Uploaded them from what source? What is the extension on the video, and what is your default media player?

they are probably avi files. Do you have windows media player installed? That should work.
