Getting a 80 Maint. Error. Replaced the fuser. How do I reset the paper count?

Go to Config by turning off the printer. Then press and hold Select and Return buttons while turning on the printer. Once in Config Menu, choose Reset Maintenance Count.

NOTE: The error indicates that the printer has already printed 300k pages, worn out transfer and charge rollers. You should've replaced the maintenance kit = fuser, charge roll, transfer roll and pick tires. Otherwise, you'll ge having print quality issues.

Hp laserjet 3500 transfer kit

Hit the check botton on the control panel for the printer. Scroll down to "Configure Device" and hit the check button. Scroll down to "Resets" and hit the check button. Scroll to "Reset Supplies" and hit the check button. Scroll to "New Transfer Kit" and hit the check button. Scroll to "yes" and hit the check button.

Hit the return button (next to check button) until back at ready again. Transfer belt count should be reset now.

To make sure, from the info menu, scroll down to "print suply stus page" and hit the check button. Transfer belt should read as 100% now.

DON'T WORRY IF IT TAKES MORE THAN ONCE FOR IT TO TAKE. WE'VE SEEN IT TAKE 2 OR 3 TIMES OF REPEATING THE PROCESS (for no good reason) BEFORE THE MACHINE RESETS THE COUNT.
