Prostart locks and unlocks but won't start truck

Two things, Some Chev's have a security key that will only start the car when the ignition finds the ID chip in the handle of the key, when some places install remote starters they take the ID chip from the key and glue or tape it to the ignition switch so the remote starter will start the car without the key in it. I have seen some of the glue and or tape give out and the little chip falls far enough away from the ignition switch that it cannot find it and thus will not start. this is why it will work with the key in the ignition, You will have to find a service tech that knows how to remove the chip from your key handle (the plastic you turn when the key is inserted) then place it where the ignition switch can read it correctly. The ID chip is about the size of a grain of rice an is located in a small compartment in the plastic handle of the ignition key it is well hidden but a tech that has worked with this can find it. You could do the same if you get a additional key made for your car and place the key in the steering column very close to the ignition switch, but the new key can cost you in the $50 to $80 range so a tech would be a cheaper choice.
The second thing it may be is a bad isolator relay used in the remote starter, this relay is used by some more expensive remote starters to bypass the security system of the car by other means than placing the ID chip on the ignition switch. This would also need a tech to figure it out. But it should not cost more than $90 to fix by the tech, (less any cost to replace the ID chip or relay).

My 2008 dodge caravan wont start turn the key and nothing thought it was the starter. removed it and tested. tested ok put starter back in and hooked up a remote starter switch starter turns over now with...

check for a faulty starter relay but I suspect that the problem is in the ignition switch where the contacts inside the switch are not making contact
if the ignition is on and the starter is cranking the engine and the run contacts are making contact it will fire and run
check harness connections under the dash

You need to proof read your problem, confusing. Motor turning over and one starting are different. Is the remote factory? If not you need to disconnect the power to it and try again.

Truck will not start how can i tell if its a starter or selonoid

does it spin real fast without clanging and grinding against the flywheel? if so then its probably the solenoid bad. do you have to hit the starter with a hammer then it works? it is probably bad brushes or a worn motor. eather way i think you can only get a new starter and solenoid together not sold seperate. check for bad battery cables (loose).

Getting brake on fault from viper remote start 5701

Getting brake on fault? The remote starter/alarm has a brake sutdown wire(brown) and it connects to the switched brake wire of the vehicle. This means that when the remote starter is active, depressing the brake will send 12 volts to the remote starter, shutting the system down. If the brake shutdown wire is seeing 12 volts constantly, the remote starter will never start. Either the brake sutdown wire is connected to the wrong wire at the brake switch or, there is a problem with your brake switch. When there is a faulty brake switch, the switched wire will rest at 12 volts. One sure way to tell is that the brake lights are on constantly (the bulb may have blown by now).

My remote starter just stop working

IF YOU HAD IT DONE BY THE DEALERSHIP THERE SHOULD BE 2 SWITCHES ON THE DRIVER SIDE RIGHT WHERE THE INSIDE DOOR TRIM IS. IT SITS USUALLY UNDERNEATH THE HOOD LATCH RELEASE HANDLE. IN MY CAR ONE SWITCH IS RED AND THAT OPERATES THE REMOTE STARTER AND THE OTHER, BLACK ONE IS AN ALARM ON\OFF SWITCH.
