Color Laserjet 3505 13.20 service error

CLJ 3505 powers up, calibrates, gets to ready then comes up with a 13.20.000 service error, jam in transfer area. Absolutely no paper in transfer area... flags seem to be working properly, any suggestions??

There is a set of sensor flags on the bottom of the paper input unit (paper feed assembly). You may be able to see them if you take out tray 2, remove the toner cartridges, and turn the printer on its back. One side of the rod can get stuck, it will make it look curved, it should be straight. "un-stick" the stuck side (typically the left side) so the flags can move freely.

SOURCE: 59.c0 error in hp clj 3505 printer

For those users who are having a problem with the printer motor, this C level problem is referred to as 'developing disengaging motor rotation error'. Most likely, this problem points to an issue with the function of the DC controller: either it has failed or it has affected the developing disengaging assembly. The solution is quite simple and the user may fix the error in a matter of few steps.
The first step is to reconnect the J16 connectors that are used for the developing disengaging motor to the J1100 connectors that are used for the DC controller PCB (that is the printer circuit board of the DC controller). After connecting these two connectors to each other, the user must replace the developing disengaging drive assembly directly.
The final step is to replace the DC controller PCB, after which the printer is to be recalibrated. for more information....

HP Color LaserJet 3500, 3550, and 3700 Series Printers - 59.99.00 Error Displayed on the Control Panel Issue

When faced with a 59.99 error, we have found additional ways to solve the issue since the service manual was written.
Error: 59.99.00 Description: An error occurred in the secondary transfer engaging mechanism. Solution

Follow the troubleshooting steps below:

  1. Fuser seated improperly. Reseat the fuser.
NOTE: You may hear grinding sounds from the right, rear of the printer associated with this specific failure also.

  2. Faulty secondary transfer engagement sensor. Replace the secondary transfer engagement sensor. (PS16, part of paper pickup/feed assembly)

  3. Faulty secondary transfer engaging solenoid. Replace the secondary transfer engaging solenoid. (SL4, part of paper pickup/feed assembly)

  4. Faulty feed motor. Replace the feed motor. (M1)

  5. Faulty DC controller PCB. Replace the DC controller PCB.

  6. If the 59.99 error only occurred after removing and reinstalling the paper pickup/feed assembly, what may have happened is that the secondary transfer engaging solenoid SL4 may have become dislocated. See figure below. Verify position of tab on top of solenoid.

My HP color LaserJet 2500L printer will only print yellow or black. All the toners are good and the machine has been re-calibrated and cleaned but it will not print full color

Print cartridges might be improperly installed. Remove the print cartridge for the color that is printing inconsistently and reinstall it. im sure you tried this already, but thats from the manual. also check your settings in the computer verify greyscale is not selected. also. Re-calibrate anyway To calibrate the printer from the HP Color LaserJet 2500 Toolbox 1 Open the HP Color LaserJet 2500 Toolbox in one of these ways: • On the desktop, double-click the HP Color LaserJet 2500 Toolbox icon. • On the Start menu, point to Programs, point to HP Color LaserJet 2500, and choose the HP Color LaserJet 2500 Toolbox. 2 On the Troubleshooting tab, click Diagnostic Tools (on the left side of the screen). 3 Click Color Calibration. Then try a test page. if all else fails Try this The NVRAM reset is done by powering off the machine. Press and hold the Go button. Turn the printer on and continue to hold the Go button. After the Go, Ready, and Attention LED's tuirn on, continue holding for at least 20 seconds. During this process, the Attention, Ready and Go LED's will each turn off. Release the Go button. The device LEDs will begin cycling from front to back. The NVRAM init process runs unitl the printer is in the Ready state.

My HP color laserjet 4500 is printing only blank pages

This is usually the Transfer kit, but if the image drum or one of the power supplies goes bad, that can also give blank pages. The Drum problem for no print is usually a grounding/connection problem. Power Supplies are a complicated repair, but these printers aren't too bad to work on. You can buy good used one's fairly cheap on ebay, though. Should consider going to a later model CLJ if you replace with a used, though.

HP LASERJET 4250n PRINTER-PROBLEM WITH PAPER JAMS AND "FUSER ERROR"

Put a maintence kit in your machine, easy install, everything just clicks in, Every 200 000 prints it should be done, it includes the fuser, all feed rollers, sep pad and transfer roller.

These are great printing machine, they only ever need the MK and on this model a fuser drive gear wears and get noisy, but once that has been done once, it is ok from then on.
KIts seem expensive but they are meant to last 200 000 prints and usally do. These are one of the best most reliable printers in the market.
